\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0this work is done by students in a mid-level computer-aided design course
\n\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0the courses’ emphasis is on design principles and visual communication fundamentals with a concentration on print graphics
\n\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0the class utilizes a variety of projects to introduce the technical aspects of the graphic design field as well as focusing on developing the working methodology necessary for good design
\n<\/span>\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>this project starts with the student\u2019s choice of one of several contemporary articles written on a variety of current, multifaceted topics
\n<\/span>\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0the project’s goal is to develop the lead double-page spread, and one secondary double -page spread for a fictional magazine called today’s issues<\/em>
\n<\/span>\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0illustrator is utilized for page layout and type setting as well as an illustration tool
\n<\/span>\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0photoshop may also be used for illustration and its integration with illustrator is covered extensively
\n<\/span>\u25b7<\/span>\u00a0the projects are printed out and assembled (shown here in digital format) to provide the student with a more concrete understanding of the actual piece<\/span><\/p>\n
