\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>this work is done by students in an introductory level computer art class
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>covering\u00a0<\/span>a broad array of subject matter and techniques, the course teaches computer skills but also introduces aspects of conceptual foundations
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>created using adobe photoshop, a significant aspect of this project is that no photographic imagery is included in the final artwork
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>it begins with the student defining for themselves a significant or sacred place
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>the task is to then represent that place using photoshop in a painterly manner
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>complex tools are introduced, such as custom brushes and advanced image management techniques, utilized in conjunction with previously acquired photoshop skills
\n\u25b7\u00a0<\/span>in addition to the technological tools, traditional aspects of painting are \u00a0discussed to provide a more concrete methodology<\/p>\n
